The South Carolina Botanical Garden welcomes over 100,000 visitors annually to its 295-acres of woodlands, streams, ponds, nature & walking trails, award-winning niche gardens and a peaceful waterfall.

Buy plants and support the garden at our plant sales in Spring & Fall... there's something for everyone at the South Carolina Botanical Garden.

Suzanne Edwards de Vargas, Artist, The Heron Pool Quilt Collection
Suzanne Edwards de Vargas, a native of South Carolina, has used quilting to teach an appreciation for wildlife and art. She draws from her interest in and travels to South America, as well as her environmental studies in the rainforest, to create colorful, intricate quilts featuring native birds found in Bolivia’s Curichi Cuajo, or Heron Pool.
