The Financial Affairs Division is comprised of Fiscal Affairs, Comptroller's Office, Budgets and Financial Planning, Human Resources, Environmental Health and Safety, Clemson University Business Systems, University Facilities, and Sponsored Programs Accounting and Administration.

Financial Affairs Vision Statement:

We will be recognized by our peers as a leader in the use of benchmarks, sound business practices and technology to provide service delivery to our clients. Our service and support will be continuously assessed and evaluated to measure our efforts towards continuous improvement.

Financial Affairs Mission Statement:

The Financial Affairs Division is dedicated to serving and supporting the academic mission of Clemson University, while maintaining a visible commitment to excellence. This end will be achieved by providing or facilitating the attainment of services, products, resources and information necessary to enhance the quality and effectiveness of the academic enterprise. An environment will be created which fosters communication, quality, integrity, leadership, and creativity.

Financial Affairs Guiding Principles:

Our primary role is support for the educational, research and public service mission of the University. We seek to increase the efficiency of all business processes at the University to include accounting, budgeting, procurement, personnel and others. At the same time, we strive to increase the level and quality of these services in a responsive manner to the campus community, the state, and all other constituents.
